Hello, this is not a bug I think. I have the same "problem". My motherboard can use both ECC and non-ECC RAMs. I use non-ECC ram and motherboard reports, that it use non-ECC and it can use ECC RAM. Not that it use ECC RAM as non-ECC RAM.
The bug should be corrected by lowering severity from warning to nocice or something like that in that case. -- EDAC amd64: WARNING: ECC is NOT currently enabled by the BIOS.
