Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
in going through the graphical installer after booting up from the LiveCD, i got to the partition tab and was trying out different options. after selecting the "erase and use the entire disk" radio button and selecting my second disk (as opposed to the first, which displayed by default), i noticed that there was a horizontal scrollbar underneath the representation of that disk's partitions and available space. this is probably another bug, by the way, as the image reflects a percentage, and thus should always scale with the window. anyway, i horizontally resized the window to show the entire image, but it never really showed the full image, so i gave up and attempted to horizontally shrink the window. that's when i discovered that you're not allowed to, apparently. i've subsequently been successful triggering this bug merely by clicking 'forward' on each tab (which all can resize without problem) until I get to the partition page, and then trying to resize it. i've attached the documents requested from <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures> below. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: cannot resize ubiquity window -- ubiquity window cannot be resized to be horizontally smaller on the partition tab https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/469233 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
