Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdebase
I upgraded to Karmic yesterday by clean installing Jaunty then `do-release-upgrade` overnight. I wanted to rate some of my music, so I click 4.5 stars in the information pane of Dolphin. I expected this rating to register and hold its state. Instead, Dolphin crashed (not immediately, but stopped responding) and I was prompted to terminate it. Im happy to provide more information, but I've not filed bug reports before. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.10 Release: 9.10 apt-cache policy dolphin dolphin: Installed: 4:4.3.2-0ubuntu3 Candidate: 4:4.3.2-0ubuntu3 Version table: *** 4:4.3.2-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com karmic/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 4:4.2.4-0ubuntu1~jaunty1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty-backports/main Packages ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Nov 1 13:18:36 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: dolphin 4:4.3.2-0ubuntu3 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE= LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic SourcePackage: kdebase Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic i686 ** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Dolphin freezes when applying star ratings. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/469141 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
