Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Since upgrading to Karmic, my mouse freezes for about half a second about 80% of the times that I press a key on the keyboard. I notice it most when I use a hotkey combination involving the ctrl key especially when doing a copy, paste, closing tabs in firefox and switching virtual desktops. However, the bug is not limited to the use of the ctrl key as I first thought, and actually happens when typing any key whilst moving the mouse. My graphics device is: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G86 [GeForce 8400M GS] (rev a1) I have the NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver (version 185) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Oct 31 09:31:11 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 MachineType: Dell Inc.
