Here is a patch for Hardy, with the changes backported. The patch is self-contained within the Yahoo backend, to avoid breaking libpurple ABI (as it relies on extra members in the PurpleUtilFetchUrlData public struct), and also to minimize the regression risk to other protocols which are currently functioning perfectly ok.
The patch is a similar size to what was previously applied in Jaunty, and as such, needs a similar approach to user testing ** Attachment added: "pidgin_2.4.1-1ubuntu2.7.debdiff" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/34695983/pidgin_2.4.1-1ubuntu2.7.debdiff -- Yahoo server authentication changed: Pidgin =<2.5.6 will not connect to Yahoo! servers. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/389322 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
