Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: computer-janitor

I used the computer janitor on my system. It suggested to remove a
package, which I had installed manually, by downloading a deb-file.
(Tipp10) That's not the primary bug.

After applying the suggested changes, I no longer hear any sound from my
speakers. I am using an external usb-sound-card called "usb sound
blaster" by creative labs, Model No. S80490.

Since the computer janitor is kind of buggy and does appear to delete
important applications once in a while, I would suggest having an undo
feature in order to revert unwanted changes. At the moment, I don't know
how to fix the sound problem, because I don't know which change on which
package is responsible

Regards,

kikl
