Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ibus
Ubuntu 9.04 used scim as a default input method for entering Asian characters such as Chinese and Japanese and was working absolutely fine. However Ubuntu 9.10 decided to switch to "ibus" which shows "No Input method" no matter how it was set up. I have also tried to use scim on 9.10 without success. If anyone who has successfully set up Chinese or Japanese input on 9.10, please let me know. ** Affects: ibus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- 9.10 cannot use ibus or scim to input Chinese https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/464060 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
