1) Yes 2) No I cannot tell you the exact date of the snapshot (the file is dated 2009-10-09 17:44 GMT+1) and I tested the 64-bit version, both from a Live-2GB USB stick and an installed 16GB USB stick. Micropone1 recorded via the internal mic and Microphone2 via the headset (external microphone). I used gnome-sound-recorder to record. I had to select the Microphone setting manually (which was expected).
When Microphone 2 is selected and no Headset is plugged, nothing is recorded. When Microphone 1 is selected and the Headset-Mic is plugged, the recording come from the internal Microphone. I am now downloading Kramic final release and will recreate the Live-2GB USB stick (but simply upgrade the installed 16GB Stick) and will report back to tell you if the Situation has changed. Please let me know if there is any information that you need from my system unter Karmic (I'm not yet upgrade my internal disk to Karmic just yet and I'm using the 32-bit version, so I can experiment with the two USB sticks, it's just that I always need to find some time to actually test.) -- Dell Inspiron 1525 External Microphone Issues https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439635 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
