I too am having the same problems. I gave us with Brasero, Serpentine, Gnome etc., none of them would burn a normal cd for me. My last hope was k3b and to be honest I did a RW disc and no problems except for the verify written data which just stood standstill. I then did the same with a blank cd not rewritable and it gave an error on writing. I have the debug report. What on earth is happening when it comes to writing a simple music cd. Very difficult with Linux. Hope we can find a solution. Thanks
