Hi Pete.

Thanks for the reply. I did as you suggested and got the following.

Executing: gpg --ignore-time-conflict --no-options --no-default-keyring
--secret-keyring /etc/apt/secring.gpg --trustdb-name /etc/apt/trustdb.gpg
--keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys
8D09D5BE298D57CC
gpg: requesting key 298D57CC from hkp server keyserver.ubuntu.com
gpg: keyserver timed out
gpg: keyserver receive failed: keyserver error

Sorry, I didn't realise that you had to wait a while for other text to
appear! Anyhow, I repeated the previous step and this time waited for
further text to appear, but got the following.

Executing: gpg --ignore-time-conflict --no-options --no-default-keyring
--secret-keyring /etc/apt/secring.gpg --trustdb-name /etc/apt/trustdb.gpg
--keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys
298D57CC
gpg: requesting key 298D57CC from hkp server keyserver.ubuntu.com
gpg: keyserver timed out
gpg: keyserver receive failed: keyserver error

Thanks.
