both spreadMethods 'reflect' and 'repeat' (in Inkscape 'Repeat: reflect' and 'Repeat: direct') produce an increased number of stops and overall greater distance between start and end stop on export to PDF. Only spreadMethod 'pad' (in Inkscape 'Repeat: none') keeps the the same number of stops on export to PDF and is correctly rendered after re- import to Inkscape.
The gradient in each exported PDF is visually rendered the same way as in Inkscape (PDF Viewer: Apple Preview). (testcase: square with gradient from blue to red, 2 stops, no transparency, Inkscape r22544, cairo 1.8.8) ** Attachment added: "168610-spreadMethod.tgz" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/34524978/168610-spreadMethod.tgz -- Exporting patterns and gradients doesn't work for PDF / EMF https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/168610 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
