Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: hal

HP Pavilion TX2690
Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic (RC)

The volume-buttons works OK, and so does the mute-button. But the mute-
button don't turn red, as it does in other OS'es.

Please tell me what info I should include, and I'll be happy to. :-)

This is no big bug, but I report it to help Ubuntu make 100% support for all
hardware I try. And this is the laptop I use from day to day. So I would be
happy to get it fully working in Ubuntu, to show off how perfect Ubuntu is
nowadays!

<Offtopic> I guess you bugs-chasing people will get the impression that
everything is a problem, and maybe get tired of us users whining. But this is
no whining at all. Thanks to YOU(!!), Ubuntu is now working almost perfectly on
my laptop. Everything works out-of-the-box (almost). And that's something it
did not do just a year ago. Linux, and especially Ubuntu, has come a very very
long way in the last couple of years. And we all owe it to you, the
bug-chasers, who dedicate so much time trying to help us less tech-savvy!
Thanks a lot. </Offtopic>

Kind regard from Norway,
Jørn.
