Public bug reported: Hello.
On my laptop, a HP Pavilion TX2690, there is a small remote controller included inside the laptop. As far as I know from reading, the laptop doesn't have an fully infrared port, just a IR-reciever for the remote. After installing Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty, this remote did not work (it never did earlier either). But in the last couple of weeks/months with Jaunty (after updates), it suddenly started working, without me ever really knowing what did the trick. When installing Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic yesterday, I suddenly experienced that this remote had stopped working again. I don't know which packet is responsible for this. So I'm just filing this generic bug-report about the problem, and hoping that someone may send this bugreport in the right direction, to the right people. :-) Please, tell me what info I should include. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- HP Pavilion TX2690 - Remote controller not working in Karmic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/461796 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
