Since I upgraded to Kubuntu Hardy 8.04 (lsb_release shows Ubuntu 8.04.2), my flash player stopped working. I have tried re-installing flashplugin-nonfree. However, after removing it and running sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree, I get HTTP 404: Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Note that, I did run sudo apt-get update before running this install command. So, it should have the right URL. Also, I could not view flash in Firefox even when flashplugin-nonfree was installed and I had the .so files in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins directory. Even after removing flashplugin-nonfree, I still have flash player in /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins/.
