This is very interesting as I indeed installed 64 bit flashplayer and everything works perfectly now. But..........! with me, Firefox (3.5.3) *does not crash at all* and also Gmail works fine, which I tested over and ober again. So as far as I am concerned it indeed is a flash plugin problem. Strange at other systems Gmail crahes.
