Strange, I have not downloaded any updates since the day I installed 9.10 RC and have not changed any settings. But sound is now working properly.
I did install a number of packages from the ubuntu/medibuntu repos but nothing that affected sound (eclipse, vim, meld, skype, etc.). /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf appears not to have been modified either (Modified date is Oct 11.) Since my machine appears to be working and I will not be able to test any fixes, you can probably close this report, unless anyone else is able to reproduce the same issue. -- Sound pops every 1-2 minutes with 9.10 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/458752 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
