After this morning's updates (24/10), both kernels 2.6.31-9-rt and 2.6.31-14-generic seem to be working on Ubuntustudio 9.10 beta. Yesterdag 23/10 the kernel 2.6.31-9-rt was still freezing, so last night something got fixed. Thanks. Keep fingers crossed.
