Travis: I suppose Gnome developers wouldn't accept it anyway. I think there were number of patches that targeted this silly thing and yet -- not possible to have it in Gnome.
There is more to this. There is even an option in metacity (which I believe should be the thing to be changed because of the compiz's integration with metacity, see: http://forum.compiz.org/showthread.php?p=60424) that allows to do just that (i.e. swap middle/right mouse button when resizing: gconf-editor -> /apps/metacity/general/resize_with_right_button) but it would not work with compiz (haven't tried without compiz though...). So the question is what is the Ubuntu way of handling such issues? When there is no go for a patch upstream, does ubuntu maintains it in its own repositories? -- Bad Compiz Bindings Bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/207065 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
