Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
Have been running beta and had no problem. After update my HUAWEI E170 mobile modem can not be connected. It directly disconnects. The "cdrom" in it is mounted on my desktop, maybe the change from that to modem that stopped working. dmesg [ 1234.123135] usb 5-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 10 [ 1234.307933] usb 5-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice [ 1234.318918] scsi22 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices [ 1234.331121] usb-storage: device found at 10 [ 1234.331125] usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning [ 1234.544355] usb 5-2: USB disconnect, address 10 [ 1235.878204] usb 5-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 11 [ 1236.039053] usb 5-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice [ 1236.044902] option 5-2:1.0: GSM modem (1-port) converter detected [ 1236.045073] usb 5-2: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB0 [ 1236.047066] option 5-2:1.1: GSM modem (1-port) converter detected [ 1236.047197] usb 5-2: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB1 [ 1236.047743] scsi25 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices [ 1236.050111] usb-storage: device found at 11 [ 1236.050117] usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning [ 1241.051837] usb-storage: device scan complete [ 1241.054809] scsi 25:0:0:0: CD-ROM HUAWEI Mass Storage 2.31 PQ: 0 ANSI: 2 [ 1241.078728] sr1: scsi-1 drive [ 1241.078978] sr 25:0:0:0: Attached scsi CD-ROM sr1 [ 1241.079135] sr 25:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg3 type 5 [ 1250.985738] ISO 9660 Extensions: Microsoft Joliet Level 1 [ 1250.990880] ISOFS: changing to secondary root ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 CRDA: Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory Date: Fri Oct 23 10:04:26 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 IfupdownConfig: auto lo iface lo inet loopback IpRoute: 194.47.88.0/24 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 194.47.88.173 metric 1 194.47.104.0/23 dev wlan0 proto kernel scope link src 194.47.104.83 metric 2 169.254.0.0/16 dev eth0 scope link metric 1000 default via 194.47.88.1 dev eth0 proto static NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: network-manager 0.8~a~git.20091013t193206.679d548-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.48-generic SourcePackage: network-manager Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic x86_64 WpaSupplicantLog: ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- After update 21 oct. can not connect mobile broadband https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/458862 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
