Is there a preferred workaround for users who wish to install Python modules from source like this:
sudo python setup.py install --prefix=/usr/local Even after setting and exporting PYTHONPATH to be '/usr/local/lib/python2.6/site-packages' (which exists) this failed with an error message that claims I have a "bad install directory or PYTHONPATH". -- wrong quoting in aclocal's python.m4 check https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/350016 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
