I have a similar problem. While xev reports the right keys on my Swiss
German layout (ie: AltGr+$ = right curly bracket), the inputs do not
work in any other applications. In gnome-terminal, the combo for left
curly bracket even causes a weird autocompletion:
:/$ PRESS AltGr+รค
:/$
{b{in,oot},cdrom,dev,etc,home,initrd.img{,.old},l{ib,ost+found},m{edia,nt},opt,proc,root,s{bin,elinux,rv,ys},tmp,usr,v{ar,mlinuz{,.old}}}
This is a real problem for me, I'd be very grateful for some help and
happy to provide more information. Unfortunately, I can't remember what
happened before it stopped working.
