Public bug reported: Running Kate 3.3.2 using KDE 4.3.2 Ubuntu 9.10 (21 Oct 2009)
I use KDE session management, to restore my last session after reboot/logout. What I expect from Kate after reboot it restores my last opened session, including all plugins (in my case the Tab Bar and the Symbol List). What happens when Kate is restored after reboot, is that all files are restored, but the plugins (in my case Tab Bar and Symbol List) are not restored. I do not know what/if other options are also not restored With the Kate option 'Save Session on Application Exit or Session Switch' disabled, a work around is to switch session and then reload the initial session. With the 'Save Session' option enabled, it saves the wrongly loaded session when switching to another session. After this the original settings are lost.
