Luka - so you have a non-encrypted root fs, and only /home is encrypted? Is that right? Maybe you could post your /etc/fstab and /etc/mtab so we can see exactly what your set up is.
Also, could you do a test and boot without usplash to see if that solved the problem (as it did for me). I've put instructions for doing that in comment #2.
