Hey, i've been twiddling with the usb key a bit more, and i noticed that
if i change anything on the persistent filesystem (aka make changes
while running it, then reboot), i have to physically unplug the usb
briefly, then plug it in again, or it won't boot up (freezes on fetching
bootloader of usb key).

I can live with that, of course, but mentioning it might help someone
with this problem.
