Copying from IRC, the rationale why it's reasonable to fix this in blkid: Given that no LUKS partition *can* be activated without external configuration telling how to decrypt it (i.e.: /etc/crypttab), I think in all cases it's safe to prefer LUKS over * if the alternative is returning no UUID at all
