Anyone??? Sound was working perfectly on Jaunty but after upgrading to Karmic beta the sound device 'disappears' every now and then... sometimes I need to reboot 8-10 times to have my sound back. There is no device in the Hardware tab on the Sound Preferences and there's only a Dummy Output on the output tab. In some rare cases I can hear the ubuntu logging theme whilst booting but he sound disappears afterwards. I'm using kernel: 2.6.31.14.27
