On my ASUS A6VM Ubuntu 9.10 does not see SD cards in build-in card reader at all, but it worked perfect in 9.04 and 8.10 lspci output: 02:01.2 SD Host controller: Ricoh Co Ltd R5C822 SD/SDIO/MMC/MS/MSPro Host Adapter (rev 17)
dmesg does not says any messages on inserting/removing SD card.
