I just upgraded from Jaunty to Karmic beta. Skimming through the updated conf-files I noticed the comment in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist Thank you SO MUCH for doing this :) It has always been the very first thing I "fixed" in fresh Ubuntu installations. I believe this will greatly improve the first-time user experience. Oh, and it works fine here btw (ThinkPad X60t)
