Public bug reported: Binary package hint: epiphany-browser
I have recently installed Ubuntu 9.10 beta on a system with a VIA EPIA motherboard. The processor is an 800 MHz VIA Nehemiah. When I launch Epiphany and go to www.google.com, Epiphany renders the page but then crashes after about 2 seconds before I interact with any elements on the page or with the browser itself: jco...@desktop:~$ epiphany-browser www.google.com WARNING: Unhandled message: interface=org.freedesktop.DBus.Introspectable, path=/, member=Introspect Illegal instruction (core dumped) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Wed Oct 14 13:25:27 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: epiphany-browser 2.28.0-4ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-14.46-generic SourcePackage: epiphany-browser Uname: Linux 2.6.31-14-generic i686 ** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- illegal instruction occurs after rendering web page https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/451465 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
