Public bug reported:

Intermittent crackle from laptop speakers when audio is idle.

Laptop is an Alienware m5500-R3 also known as Alienware Area-51 m5550.
It appears to be a rebrand of Uniwill's P53IA.
Setting model=uniwill-p53 in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf has no effect on
the sound.
