Public bug reported:

Problem in the SWAP partition, the resume after hibernate failed on boot
due to some error in swap format: FILE INCONSISTANT.

This karmic partition=sda7 was copied from sda1 which I rebuilt from scratch
using beta karmic32 CD yesterday with latest updates.
The only change I had made was to /etc/fstab: changing UUIDs to LABELs except
for swap. Following error I fsck'ed used partition and mkswap for problem,
then changing UUID for swap to /dev/dev5 (as on other partitions using same
swap partition).
I also had gone from GRUB2 to GRUB1 by simply running GRUB from 'RIP' linux
partition. This should be transparent.

Previously on this partition I tried a SUSPEND which HUNG after several
seconds: screen and hd running, requiring a power-off and reboot. No
change here, cannot get it to suspend with any versions of Ubuntu,
Debian or SUSE. However, no problems with Hibernation among several
versions of Linux or sharing SWAP and DATA partitions.

ProblemType: KernelOops
Annotation: This occured during a previous hibernate and prevented it from
resuming properly.
