Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase

Dolphin has a context menu for the Trash icon that includes "Remove
Trash". I'm having trouble with people clicking on this when trying to
empty their trashcan: They think (perhaps rightly) that "remove trash"
means "empty the trash". So their trash icons get deleted from Dolphin,
leaving them with no readily accessible way to clear or access their
trashed files, and no way to add the Trash icon back to Dolphin.

Also, consider flagging this as a security issue, since people tend to
rely on the trashcan as a way of removing sensitive information from
their systems. Dolphin and other programs will continue using Del to
send files to the trashcan, even when the user has no apparent way to
empty it.
