This still happens for me on latest Kubuntu Karmic. I'm testing it with KMess 2.0.x, which simply opens a KNotification item. I even recompiled the project against the latest installed libraries. So this is KMess 2.0 .1dev-svn, using KDE 4.3.2 in Karmic right now. Steps to reproduce:
1. Run a KDE application that uses KDE notifications. I tested with KMess, will test with i.e. Amarok later. 2. Click one of the buttons on your panel so that its submenu pops up. I clicked Quick Access, so it showed my home directory. 3. Let the KDE application send a notification to Plasma. In the case of KMess, have someone talk to you while for example Quick Access is open. 4. The notification shows. The popup / quick access thingy closes. Anything else I can do to help, except for testing it with other apps? :) ** Changed in: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- Notifications in plasma-desktop close other plasmoid popups https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/403962 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase-workspace in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
