I had a little help in #ubuntu+1 on Ubuntu's IRC, no luck but at least I have a bit more info:
I attached my fstab. I commented out my ntfs partitions to see if that was the issue, but it doesn't look that way. I haven't modified my fstab for a long while and it's worked fine.
