I tried to start jackd from command line and it turns out that jackd is still running for a while after audacity is started but continuously reports xruns and then gets killed: "jackd watchdog: timeout - killing jackd".
Console output $ jackd --verbose --realtime -d alsa >jack-output.txt no message buffer overruns server `default' registered jackd watchdog: timeout - killing jackd Jackd's output is in attachement. ** Attachment added: "jackd verbose output" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/33415837/jack-output.txt -- Audacity crashes at startup when jack is running https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159671 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
