I had fixed that for myself with this script (in /etc/pm/sleep.d/)

# Tell grub that resume was succesfull

thaw)
grub-editenv /boot/grub/grubenv unset recordfail
;;
esac

grub nice 'recordfail' feature doesn't work for hibernation
