Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pitivi
When rendering output, there are separate selections for file name and file format. Therefore, it is easy to create a file in some format without any extension, which might lead to confusion later when opening that file. Pitivi should append an extension to the file name based on chosen format and/or guess the format from file extension entered, like, for example, Gimp does.
