Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
Trying to set up dual screen configuration (Acer Aspire One 110's screen and Sony SDM-HS95P), I opened gnome-display-properties and set both screens to their native resolutions (1024x600 and 1280x1024 respectively), clicked Apply. I was told that I need to enable virtual resolution, I clicked Yes, authenticated for making a system-wide change, told that I need to log out and log back in. However, nothing changed on the next logon. I still get 800x600 on each screen and same prompt when trying to set the resolution as I wanted.
