Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and help to improve Ubuntu.
Is this still a problem with the final version of the Ubuntu 8.10 or Ubuntu 9.04 releases? Given the date when this was confirmed, the intrepid problem may have been bug #267875. If the bug *is* still present in later Ubuntu releases, then it's a bug in the kernel driver for not exposing the standard rfkill interface, not a bug in the acpi- support package. ** Changed in: acpi-support (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: acpi-support (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- isAnyWirelessPoweredOn() -> $DEVICE/device/power/state and rf_kill nonexistant https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239758 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
