Sorry guys, same issue here, and it's been bugging me for the past few days:
Error loading address book. This address book cannot be opened. This either means that an incorrect URI was entered, or the server is unreachable. Detailed error message: Other error The debug log does not mean much to me but here it is: #evolution --force-shutdown; GOOGLE_BACKEND_DEBUG=1 ; /usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-2.26 I removed and added a new Address book of Google type, and when press it I get the "Error loading address book." impl_GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_Book_remove impl_GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_BookFactory_getBook + google://sergio.r.cre...@gmail.com => 0x6f81e0 impl_GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_Book_open (0x6f81e0) Easily reproduced in my system if you need any further logs please let me know...
