Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

About half of the times I tried so far, Update Manager appears to hang
while installing, and after a while I get a Dialog Box notifying me that
a "daemon" has died. The packages I was trying to update were
apparently updated, though.

I'm going to send you a screenshot next time the problem occurs.

No other software was opened at the same time. I'm using a HP DV-2620
CA Laptop with Karmic beta 64 bits.
