Hello I am new to ubuntu, Thank you for everyone posting their help. I have this appear when I try to access the synaptic pack manager:
E: Malformed line 10 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (dist) E: The list of sources could not be read. Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem. E: _cache->open() failed, please report. Then I tried to do what Arnav Ghosh suggested and in the terminal it says this: nat...@passionate:~$ sudo rm -f /var/cache/apt/*.bin nat...@passionate:~$ sudo apt-get update E: Malformed line 10 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list (dist) nat...@passionate:~$ I do not know what a source list is, or where to find it could someone help me please?
