Hi, today I have downloaded the Beta ISO image of the upcoming Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. I have prepared an USB memory pen for boot with it. I have tried Karmic in Live and I can say you that no audio problems are present there. Even with the 1.0.20 alsa drivers the audio sytem of my laptop function very well. --> sound from headphones OK --> sound recording with integrated microphone OK --> sound from laptop speakers OK
So, in the next future my problem seems to be resolved.
