This bug is fixed in trunk PPA, thanks, Alexander. 2TualatriX You can not use network manager cause you setup network with ppoeconf or manually trough editing of /etc/network/interfaces. Just comment eth0 and pppoe entries int /etc/network/interfaces so it looks like this: auto lo iface lo inet loopback
