Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
Profile /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.firefox-3.5 contains invalid mode PUxr as reported by aa-logprof in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic. This error refers to the following line in the apparmor profile: "/usr/bin/evince PUxr," The steps needed to trigger the bug in the profile are very simple: 1. Change the profile for Firefox 3.5 from complain mode to enforce mode by executing: sudo aa-enforce /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.firefox-3.5 2. Run Firefox 3. Execute sudo aa-logprof No errors are reported in any of the log files and Evince also launches successfully within Firefox if a pdf-file is downloaded. A check with aa-status moreover then show that Evince is confined with its own apparmor profile.
