Hi everybody, I am using kubuntu 9.10 beta, and I have the same error messages at boot. Usplash had been disabled I don't know why so I can't see kubuntu loading progress bar. I created the usplash config file in the initramfs to enable usplash, made the new initram and rebooted my pc and saw the boot splash working.
I hope usplash will be reactivated for kubuntu users as well gnome people.
