Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: par2

Hello.
First sorry for my english but it is not my native language.
I was using the tool par2 (version 4.8) on ubuntu edgy on a powerpc without
any problems. Since one week, I use par2 (version 4.6) on ubuntu dapper
(powerpc too). And while running "par2 r blablabla.par2", the shell returns me
an error "Main packet not found". This package is in the Universe Repository,
and i think it will be a good idea to backport the version of par2 for dapper
from 4.6 to 4.8 to resolve the problem, according to this :
http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-90148.html
Thank you very much for your attention :)

p.s. You have to know that I backported myself par2 version 4.8 with the
sources for edgy (http://packages.ubuntu.com/edgy/utils/par2) to dapper
using pbuilder. I installed it on my dapper so now i have par2 version
4.8 running on dapper and it is working very well :D
