** Description changed:

After suspend the resume failed. The PC simply did not wake up properly
so I killed it with a hard reboot ( pressing the sart button ).

After reboot I was told that the kernel had a problem which led me to
  this launchpad bug report.

- Usually I am not having any problems doing suspend/resume. Only
- sometimes the WLAN is down - might be caused by the WLAN router...
+ Usually I am not having any problems doing suspend/resume but until
+ today it occured a few times. Sometimes the WLAN is down which seems to
+ be a known bug. Maybe the system freeze does relate to this?

If there are any quesions I am happy to help.

  Thanks
  Chris
