Well I can't either :-) Sometime after these, I got a system hang with black screen in screensaver or something; no capslock, no blinking lights.
I hard rebooted and couldn't reproduce the dmesg issue either. Let's leave this bug to rest; I shall open another one if I consistently reproduce the issue.
