Public bug reported: I came across this bug when trying to figure out why my video-output in xine-lib is distorted. Talking to the Xine-guys I was told the fglrx- driver in Karmic reports a wrong "image size" to the X-server (logged in Xorg.0.log). Xine-lib uses this value to determine the size and ratio of the screen and thus the image is distorted.
